Our Story

Harold’s Restaurant, located in Gaffney, South Carolina, is a family-style Southern diner that has been serving comfort food since 1932. This iconic eatery, featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, is renowned for its classic chili burger and pinto beans with fatback, which Guy Fieri famously described as 'off the hook.' The current $7.99 all-you-can-eat special includes home cooked pintos with ham, cornbread, fatback, chow chow, and onions, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to providing affordable comfort food and takeout options. Owned by local Gaffney native Tony Lipscomb, who fell in love with the famous chili burger, Harold’s Restaurant operates Monday to Saturday from 11am to 9pm at 602 N Limestone St. It continues to maintain a solid reputation for hearty, no-frills Southern cooking, making it a great stop for those looking for delicious menu items near the casino.
